WSP Engineering Sponsor Zac Champney

Getting Trackside with Zac Champney

Zac Champney

We are excited to announce our sponsorship of up-and-coming ten-year-old young racing driver Zac Champney. Zac is on his journey through the world of motorsport and is currently competing in the WMKC and PFI championships.

Zac has been racing karts since the age of six, achieving numerous wins and podium positions, including 1st place at the IAME Waterswift Final. This year Zac is currently running in second place in both the WMKC and PFI championships, with several wins under his belt already.

His determination and development on and off the track is inspirational, and we look forward to supporting him on his journey and sharing our years of engineering expertise with Zac and his team.

Dave Pickup, Director for WSP Engineering, said, “We are incredibly proud to be supporting Zac on his motorsport journey. One of WSP Engineering’s goals is to put people at the heart of everything we do, as they are integral to the success of our business. We are passionate about developing individuals inside and outside our business and cannot wait to see Zac’s progress on the track this year.”

Matt Champney, Zac’s father, said, “The sponsorship and support from WSP Engineering ensures that Zac will have a competitive season. Thank you to Dave, Richard and all of the WSP team for helping Zac. The kart looks fantastic in the team colours, and Zac is focused on winning the WMKC and PFI club championships in 2023.”

We look forward to supporting Zac throughout this season and beyond.

Keep up to speed with Zac’s motorsport journey by tuning in to his Facebook page.
