As a Principal Designer and Principal Contractor, we ensure that your project is planned and assessed from start to finish and any risks are mitigated. We work with you to have the right people on-site at the right time, and make sure that all parties are aware of the risks, how they are being managed and the part they have to play in delivering site safety.

Our Process

An overview of our step-by-step approach to Health and Safety CDM.

01. Pre Construction

Prior to engaging with contractors, we carry out pre-qualification assessments to ensure that health, safety and environmental due diligence is completed and that the right third-party contractors are selected for your project.

Not only are we assessing their management systems and methodology as fit for purpose, but also their insurance, qualifications and capability is to the required standard.

We also work with contractors and suppliers to support them in sustainability and corporate social responsibility measures, we have a responsibility to influence and help wherever we can.

02. Planning

Our Health and Safety team are fully IOSH, and NEBOSH qualified. We analyse and approve contractor risk assessments and method statements, ensuring your staff, operation, products, and facilities are safe and legal.

With expertise across all aspects of Health, Safety and Environment we are able to work with clients and contractors to effectively plan work so it can be completed safely and with no environmental impact.

03. Construction Phase

We utilise the latest technology alongside our experienced site management team to ensure all contractors on site are operating safely and legally.

We have extensive knowledge and experience as principal contractors and are experts in managing, monitoring and coordinating third-party contractors.

We are proud of our health & safety performance and want to make sure that everyone goes home safely at the end of the day.

04. Handover

As Principal Designer, we work with the client, the Principal Contractor and the projects team to ensure residual risks are reduced throughout the project.

Through our training services, we can offer clients and contractors additional support across various health and safety categories.

Along with our consultancy team, we have expertise in work at height, confined spaces, DSEAR, machinery safety and process safety to name a few.
