Apprenticeship Programme

What you can expect from an apprenticeship with WSP Engineering:

Our apprenticeship programme is completed over 3 years giving our apprentices the opportunity to gain an L5 Food and Drink Engineer qualification from the renowned National Centre for Food Manufacturing based at the University of Lincoln.

You will learn engineering theory as well as practical applications within food manufacturing environments. We work across a diverse range of food manufacturing processes and technologies and can give our apprentices unique opportunities to build knowledge and experience.

Our apprentices will get to work on real projects spending time in the different functions within the business to get a rounded experience in Food and Drink Engineering.

What we are looking for:

We want our apprentices to learn and develop into excellent engineers in the future, with a desire to grow and a passion for engineering.

Ideally, we are looking for people with a level 3 engineering qualification or A-Levels in Maths & Sciences. Previous engineering experience is not essential but if you can demonstrate existing skills and knowledge that will help.
